An incremental, symptom-limited treadmill test with breath-by-breath gas exchange analysis, considered the gold standard for evaluating aerobic capacity, ventilatory efficiency, and respiratory patterns under maximal exercise conditions.
With over 5,000 CPET tests conducted on Serie A players, Oxypeak builds on a unique clinical dataset. A peer-reviewed subset of 741 tests, published in Biology of Sport, provides one of the largest reference bases in elite football for role-specific VO₂peak, MEV, and ventilatory thresholds.
Based on 15+ years of testing on Italian first-division players. The published dataset in Biology of Sport (2025) covers the first 6 years of the program (2009–2015) and remains one of the most comprehensive references available worldwide.
A proprietary chest strap that estimates respiratory frequency by detecting chest wall expansion, paired with a cloud-based analytics platform for real-time and longitudinal metabolic analysis.
